Mandatory Tricks
To earn your Green Sling, you must have a Maroon Sling Certification and perform all seven of the following tricks:
- Quad Aerial
- Triple Left-Left
- OTH Double (can look) Or Palm Spin (3 Spins - no looking)
- Death Double Or higher
- Double Side Toss (or Aerial Toss) BTB Power Catch
- Double Rising Sun The Double Rising Sun (formerly known as the Full Ninja) must be done exactly as presented in the video. When done this way, you will learn a new critical skill (how to pop the rifle off your thumb from behind your head). Do not ask for substitute tricks or setups.
- Flyin’ Hawaiian Or Triple Aerial Varial
Pick 3 Tricks
You must also perform any three of the following tricks:
- Or
- Double Scorpion Toss
- Triple Back Ninja (or higher)
- Triple Right Shoulder Toss
- Triple Under Leg Catch
- Double Tomahawk Double Tomahawk - Catching the rifle and bringing it flat will count as 1-second for the hold. Each second the rifle does not stay upright will count as a Major Penalty. This penalty will be only a single Major for July and August as we adjust to the change. to Statue of Liberty (3 Second Hold)
- The Eclipse
For a total of ten tricks.

Green Slings are graded on the following curve:
Penalties
Minor Penalties: 1.00
Moderate Penalties: 2.00
Major Penalties: 4.00
Score
Minimum Passing Score: 80+ points
Maximum Score: 100 points
As a reminder, it is customary, but not required, to begin and end your assessment with a Present Arms.
